Corgi's Quest: The Curse of Destiny
Scenario: Corgi is saving the world

My name is Luna Smith.
I was an ordinary girl, living an ordinary life.
I had a passion for reading, and a heart that craved adventure.
One day, in the depths of the Eldoria Library, I stumbled upon an ancient prophecy that foretold the apocalypse and the curse that would end the world.
Five hundred years from then, on the night of the blood moon, three artifacts must be destroyed to prevent humanity from facing its end.
These artifacts were cursed by dark magic, and held unimaginable power.
The prophecy spoke of the Key of Shadows, the Amulet of Darkening, and the Tome of Madness.
Only by destroying these artifacts could the curse be broken, and the world saved.
But before I could finish my research, everything changed.
I became a corgi.
A short and stubby corgi with blonde fur and brown eyes.
I may have lost my ability to talk, read, or write, but my will was still strong.
And so my adventure begins.
Corgis may be small and adorable, but they’re not to be underestimated.
We have short legs for running and jumping, and we have big hearts filled with determination.
So when I was transformed into a corgi in the middle of Eldoria Library, I was determined to make the most of it.
Sure, I may have been more focused on getting pets from all of the students than actually solving our curse problem, but everyone needs a little break from saving the world every once in a while.
Not that I was actually saving the world yet.
I was still in research mode, trying to find out as much as I could about our curse and what we needed to do to break it so I could make a plan of attack.
But before I could finish my research or even show Max and Olivia what I had found, the curse kicked in and I became a dog.
From what I could tell from staring at myself in the endless rows of books lining the walls, I was a corgi.
A short and stubby corgi with blonde fur and brown eyes.
What once were my hands were front paws and my feet were back paws, with sharp little claws.
I still had my sense of smell and hearing.
I just couldn’t talk or read or write.
Or at least not the way a human would.
The curse was powerful and it had changed me completely.
But it was going to take more than becoming a dog to keep me from saving the world.
“Come on, Luna!”
Olivia called as she ran through the library.
“I think I found something!”
I barked back at her, wagging my tail as fast as I could.
She skidded to a stop in front of me and gave me the best belly rub of my life.
Max came running up behind her and pulled Olivia’s hands off of me so he could give me a few pats of his own.
He was a bit more timid around dogs than Olivia was.
She was used to them since she lived on a farm with her family.
He smiled and wrinkled his nose at me.
When he smiled like that he looked even more like a mad scientist than usual with his glasses and brown hair sticking up everywhere.
“Who’s a good girl?”
he asked me in that high-pitched voice humans used when talking to dogs.
I barked at him and batted my tail on the ground again and again.
“Did you find anything good?”
Max asked Olivia once she stopped petting me and turned her attention back to the ancient book spread out on the table in front of her.
Olivia nodded and flipped through the pages so Max could see for himself what she had found.
Max grabbed one of the books off the wall and sat down at the table next to Olivia so he could read the prophecy himself.
He was an even bigger geek than me when it came to this stuff, so he was just as excited to get to work on figuring out how we could save the world from its curse as Olivia and me were.
The only problem was that I couldn’t read the books myself anymore.
Being turned into a dog had its downsides, and one of them was that I couldn’t read or write.
I could see the words and I remembered what they meant, but I couldn’t focus on them or make sense of them anymore, the way reading used to be so easy for me.
But it was okay, because I had my human friends Max and Olivia to help me figure things out.
They were both a little skeptical about my plans, and they didn’t understand why I had to be the one to save the world, but they were good friends and they were willing to help me in any way they could.
We were going to save the world together, no matter how hard it was or how long it took.
The prophecy said we had five hundred years to stop our curse from ending humanity, but I wasn’t going to wait that long to make our move.
“No wonder no one’s been able to break the curse,”Max said once he finished reading the book Olivia had found for us.“The Key of Shadows and the Amulet of Darkening are both hidden in really hard places to get to.”
“What type of hard places?”
Olivia asked him.
“The type where we have to go through all sorts of different dangers and challenges to find them,”Max said with a nod.
“Like where?”
Olivia asked him when he didn’t continue right away.
“We have a map of Eldoria,”Max said with a shrug.
“But we don’t know where those things are,”Olivia pointed out with a sharp glare at him.
Max opened his mouth to answer, but then he closed it again, because he didn’t have an answer for that.
“So we have to find them first.We can do that,”I told them, because even though we hadn’t found either of them yet, I was sure we could.
We’d already found one, after all.
It hadn’t been easy, but we’d done it.
“We have to go to the mountains first,”Max said after a moment.
That’s where we’ll find the second cursed artifact.”
The three of us looked at each other for a moment, because there was no way we could say no to that.
We were going to do whatever it took to save humanity, even if it meant climbing through treacherous mountains to do it.
The Wyverns of Elyssia guarded the second cursed artifact closely, and they weren’t going to let anyone take it from them without a fight.
The only problem was that they didn’t fight fair.
Not only were they big and strong with sharp teeth and claws, but they could also breathe fire like dragons.
That was why we had to be extra careful when we went to the mountains to find what we were looking for.
Max was the one who led us through the mountain pass, because he was the one who’d found the map that showed where the artifact was hidden.
We didn’t know if everything would be exactly the same as on the map, but we had to trust we would find what we were looking for if we followed it.
That was why we climbed through the rocky path in silence, carefully watching our surroundings while we looked for anything that might be out of place.
We knew that if the Wyverns were there, they would be watching us too, even if we couldn’t see them, so we had to be ready to fight at any moment.
The wind changed direction, blowing through the pass more sharply than before, and I caught their scent.
Luna,”Olivia called out to me as soon as she saw my ears perk up.I sniffed the air again, just to make sure I wasn’t imagining things, but then I realized I wasn’t.
They were close, and they weren’t going away.
“Get ready,”she told us as she drew her sword from her back.Max did the same thing with his sword, but then he paused, because he had an idea.
He closed his eyes for a moment, and then he waited until they were really close before he opened them again.
He caught sight of the biggest one in the lead, flying towards us at full speed, and then he nodded.It’s here!”
he called out to us as he swung his sword at it before it could attack us with its fiery breath.
The Wyvern screeched as it turned towards him instead of me, but then I tugged at its tail with my teeth so that it would stop attacking him so he could get away.I wanted the Wyverns to come after me instead of Max or Olivia, because I was the one who was best suited for fighting them.
I was faster than both of them, even in my human form, so I knew that I could evade their attacks more easily than they could.
That was why I was able to dodge the second one when it came at me with its claws instead of its fire-breathing mouth.
I was ready to jump out of the way in case it tried to attack me, but then Olivia got in the way first.
She took out her sword and slashed at it a few times before she jumped back, but she wasn’t fast enough to avoid getting burned by the Wyvern’s fire-breathing mouth completely.
The creature was bigger than she was too, so she was already at a disadvantage when she started fighting it.
That’s why I had to help her as much as I could by going after the third Wyvern before it could attack her again.
I dodged the first few flames it sent my way, but then I jumped on top of it so that I could bite its neck while it was still breathing fire instead of turning around to face me like it did with the others.
It wasn’t easy to hold on while the Wyvern was flailing around trying to get me off of it, but I kept my grip on its neck until it stopped moving so that I’d know we were safe.
Then I finally let go, because I knew that even if I got burned in the process, it would be worth it if we could get out of there alive.
It took me a while to get up after that, because my paws were scorched from getting burned by the other Wyverns while I fought them and I needed a moment to rest before I tried to walk on them again.
That’s why Olivia came over to help me up as soon as she made sure Max was okay too.
“Are you all right?”
she asked me while she looked me over for injuries before she remembered that I couldn’t answer her like I usually did.
Max said as he came over to see what had happened while he made sure we were all right once he saw we were still alive.So we’re clear?
There are no more of them coming after us?”
He took out his map while he asked us that so we could keep moving before any others found us too.“Good,”he said once Olivia finished wrapping up my paws with Max’s help.“Then we can keep going.”
It took us a while longer to climb down the mountains after that, but we didn’t run into any more trouble once we were sure the Wyverns had left us alone.
Olivia tied the ropes around our waists before we started to climb down, because she didn’t want us to fall and hurt ourselves while we were climbing.
I thought that might slow us down at first, but then Max threw down some more ropes to us that we could use when they reached the bottom to make it easier for us to get down.
It wasn’t as quick or easy as flying or teleporting there, but it was the best solution we could come up with when we didn’t have any other options.
Olivia came down first, but then I went down right after, because it was easier for me to move around without being tied to anything than it was for Olivia to climb down while she carried me in her hands.
I could still see and hear everything they were doing as I got closer to the bottom, so I knew that Max was the last one to come down, and that he made sure to catch all of our ropes when he reached the bottom so they wouldn’t fall to the ground after we landed on it.
“Luna!”
Olivia called out to me as soon as she saw me.
She put me down while she looked me over for injuries, but then I reminded her that I was fine by wagging my tail instead of running away.
“Let’s go,” she said while she picked me up again before we started to walk away from the mountains.
It took us about an hour to reach the valley floor, but we didn’t stop moving until we were sure that no one else was following after us.
The Pegasus might have wanted to come after us to make sure that he could find all three of us before he flew away, but he either forgot about us or realized that we weren’t going to stop moving until we were sure that no one else was following after us and decided that it would be better not to come after us at all.
We came across a group of centaurs while we were walking, but they ran over to us to see who we were before Heston came over to talk to us too.
“What are you doing here?”
He asked us while he looked us over for injuries.
His voice sounded like he had a lot of authority, but he sounded curious at the same time too.
“Why are you here?”
“I’m Olivia and this is Max,” Olivia told him while she pointed to each of us in turn before she introduced him too.“And we’re here because we want to save the world from the curse that’s going to destroy it.”
Heston looked surprised when he heard that, but then he walked over to us so he could see the map that Max was holding in his hands too.
He studied it for a few minutes before he said something else to us too.
“Are you looking for the artifacts?”
He asked Olivia while he raised an eyebrow at her like he already knew what she was going to say next before she said it too.
Olivia nodded in response, but then she asked him something else too.
“Do you know where they are?”
She waited until he finished talking before she said anything else to him too, because she wanted to make sure that he knew what he was talking about first before she said anything else too.
“I don’t know where they are, but I can take you to them,” he said while he looked at the map again.
“I’m not sure how you plan on destroying them once you find them,” he added in a more serious tone too.
“But if you think you can do it, then I’ll let you go.”
After that Heston walked away without saying anything else, and the other centaurs followed him too.
Olivia waited until they were gone before she started walking again, but then she stopped after a few minutes because she smelled something in the air.
I recognized it too as soon as Olivia said something about it.
That’s when I looked up and saw a Pegasus flying in the sky.
It looked like he had been following after us since we started walking too, but then he flew down to the ground when he realized that we were already there.
Olivia gasped when she saw him, but then she said something else too.
Happy ending
“That’s the Pegasus that I told you about.”
I nodded in response while I listened to Olivia say something about the waterfall that we saw next too.
“If we keep following this path we should reach the Waterfall of Tears soon,” she said while she pointed at it with one hand while she pointed at the path with the other too.
“If we keep going this way we should reach the Waterfall of Tears soon,” Olivia repeated herself again.
“It’s supposed to be beautiful, but it’s also really sad too because of all the people who have died there over the years.”
I nodded in response again while I listened to Olivia say something else about the waterfall again too.
She would have kept talking too if she hadn’t been interrupted by Max right then.
“Why is it called the Waterfall of Tears?”
Max asked Olivia while he looked at her in confusion.
Olivia shrugged in response to that question, but then she started walking again anyway, and Max and I followed after her too.
We had only been walking for a few minutes when we reached the waterfall too, but then we stopped walking when we saw it.
It looked like it was made out of diamonds, but then we realized that it was really made out of tears instead when we saw something else fall off of it and land on the ground too.
I would have gone to see what it was if Olivia hadn’t stopped me from doing that first though.
She thought that it would be better if Max went instead, so he did.
He found what she was looking for a few seconds later and showed it to us.
It was a diamond that he found on the ground, but when he looked closer he realized that it wasn’t a diamond.
Max looked at me in confusion, but then he realized what Olivia was trying to say and he put the diamond back on the ground before he stood up again too.
“I’m sorry,” Max said while he stood up again and walked over to me so he could hug me too.
He whispered something else in my ear, but I didn’t hear him.
I felt like it was hard to breathe, so I closed my eyes and waited for that feeling to go away instead.
A few seconds later I opened my eyes again, but then I realized that I couldn’t move either.
For some reason the waterfall made me feel really sad, so that’s why I didn’t want to move anymore either.
Max and Olivia looked sad when they saw that I wasn’t moving, but they didn’t know what happened either.
They didn’t know how to help me feel better either, so they sat down next to me and waited for me to start moving again instead.
Max and Olivia waited for me to start moving again for a few minutes, but then they stood up when they realized that wasn’t going to happen either.
They knew that they had to keep going if they wanted to save the world from the curse, so they started walking again even though they didn’t want to either.
I got well and we lived happily ever after
I wanted to keep walking too, but then I remembered that I couldn’t do that either.
I couldn’t walk anymore because I felt really sad all of a sudden and I didn’t know why.
I wanted to keep walking even though I knew it would be hard too, but then I started walking again anyway.
It felt like it was hard to keep walking for some reason and I didn’t know why.
It felt like it was hard to breathe too, so I closed my eyes and waited for that feeling to go away instead.
It took me a few minutes to feel better again, but then I opened my eyes again and stood up.
Olivia and Max were looking at me in confusion again, but then they stood up and started walking away again too.
They walked away even though they didn’t want to either because they knew that it was the only way to save the world from the curse.
Luna!Olivia yelled a few minutes later too.
She sounded like she was in pain, but she kept walking anyway because she knew that it was the only way to save the world from the curse too.
Olivia kept walking even though she sounded like she was in pain, and I kept walking even though it hurt too.
It felt like my heart was breaking all of a sudden, and I didn’t know why.
I wanted to stop walking instead of doing this, but I kept walking anyway even though it hurt.
Olivia stopped walking for a few seconds until we got closer to the bridge.
It looked like it was made out of clouds instead of anything else as we got closer to it.
I wanted to run away instead of doing this, but I kept walking anyway even though it hurt too.
The Pegasus kept flying in front of us until we got closer to the bridge, and then he stopped and turned around instead.
He started flying back toward the bridge instead of anywhere else, so we followed after him instead.
The Pegasus stopped flying after that too, and he waited for us to start walking instead.
We started walking again even though it hurt because we knew that we had to do this instead of anything else.
The Pegasus flew above us for a few minutes until we reached the other end of the bridge.
The Pegasus landed on the ground after that, and then he started following us instead of leading us anymore.
The Pegasus stopped walking after that too, and he waited for us to catch up with him instead.
He started walking again after that too and led us toward the temple as well.
We followed after him even though we didn’t know where he was going.
The Pegasus reached the temple before we did though and he waited for us to catch up with him too.
He flew back to where he came from after that and we never saw him again either.
We knew that we had to move on from that even though it hurt.
The bridge is what makes the Valley of Sorrows famous because it’s a physical representation of the weight of your regrets,” Olivia said a few minutes later too.
“Everyone who crosses the bridge has to carry something heavy across it with them as well.”
“My biggest regret is not being able to save my brother from sacrificing everything for eternal life,” Olivia said before she walked across the bridge again too.
“I wish I could have saved him more than anything else in the world,” Olivia said before she closed her eyes and started walking again too.
“I know that it’s hard,” I said after I opened my eyes again and started walking too.
“I wish that I could have saved him more than anything else in the world too,” Olivia said before she looked at me again and smiled as well.
“I know that you do,” I said as well.
“It’s just hard seeing him like this right now.”
“I know that it is.”
We kept walking across the bridge together and then we kept talking together too.
Olivia kept smiling at me after that too because she knew that I would help her with this.
She looked over at Max a few minutes later as well and then she started talking to him too.
I never thought that I’d see you again after what you did,” she said to him afterward as well.
“I never should have done it either,” Max said afterward as well.
“Why did you do it?”
“I thought it was the only way to keep him safe.”
Max looked away from us as well after that too and then he started walking across the bridge as well afterward too.
He caught up with us a few minutes later as well, and then we reached the other end of the bridge together too.
We stopped walking after that happened too, but nothing happened afterward either.
We looked around the area after that, but we didn’t see anything else either.
We started walking after a few seconds too, and then we saw the magical barrier afterward as well.
We saw an open passage afterward too, and I knew that we could go through it instead of anywhere else.
We walked through the magical barrier then, and then we reached the temple afterward as well.
We stopped walking afterward, but nothing happened after that too.
We didn’t see the Guardian anywhere, but then we heard something instead.
“Welcome to the Ancient Temple of Elyssia,” the Guardian said a few seconds later.
“I am the Guardian of Elyssia.”
“Thank you for letting us inside,” Olivia said afterward.
“You’re welcome,” the Guardian said after that too.
“We need to find the first artifact right now,” Olivia said afterward as well.
“We need to find it because it’s the only way to save my brother right now.”
“Very well,” the Guardian said afterward as well.
“You must pass three trials in order to get it though.”
“What are they?”
“You must walk through fire in order to pass this trial,” the Guardian said afterward.
“You must have faith in yourself in order to pass it as well.”
“We can do it,” Olivia said afterward as well.
“We need to do this right now in order to save my brother from turning into a monster right now too.”
“Lead the way then,” I said before Olivia started walking toward the fire afterward.
Max and I followed her after that too, and then we walked through the flames together too.
I was surprised when they didn’t hurt us right away, but then I knew why they hadn’t.
It was because we believed in magic more than anything else in the world.
We walked through the flames together until we reached another door afterward.
We stopped walking afterward, but nothing happened after that either.
The flames went away a few seconds later, and then we walked forward instead.
We reached another door then, and then we stopped walking again too.
The flames came back a few seconds later though, and then they surrounded us afterward too.
The flames went away again a few seconds later, but nothing happened afterward either.
