Chapter 1: Three Little Friends
In the dense forest of the Grande River, danger lurks around every corner. A little cute bear named Benny and his friends, Lily the rabbit and Max the squirrel, live in harmony with nature. Benny loves exploring the woods and wants to become a Forest Guardian just like his dad. Lily is always there to help her friends with her quick thinking and clever mind. Max is a mischievous squirrel with a heart of gold. The three little friends are enjoying their beautiful life in the forest, until one day, they overhear a shocking conversation between a cunning wolf and a mysterious figure. It turns out that the wolf is not acting alone but is being controlled by an even more sinister force. With their newfound knowledge, the friends must face a dangerous enemy that threatens not only their forest but also their very existence.
My name is Benny, and I’m a ten-year-old bear who lives in the forest with my dad and my friends Lily the rabbit and Max the squirrel. We live in the beautiful land of the Grande River. Our forest is so big that it takes up half of the entire Great Woodland. And the Great Woodland is so big that it takes two whole days just to get from one end to the other.
The forest is full of beautiful trees and flowers, and all kinds of animals live here. My dad told me that our forest has been here for thousands of years, and I was born here. But I bet he doesn’t know that I wasn’t born here, I was born in a hospital.
My dad is one of the Forest Guardians who takes care of our forest and makes sure that everything is ok. I’m not a Forest Guardian yet, but I want to be one someday, just like my dad. I love exploring the woods and going on adventures. Sometimes, when nobody is looking, I go out by myself to explore new places. But dad always tells me to be careful because there are lots of dangerous things out there, like snakes and wolves.
But that’s ok because I’m not scared of anything. I’m brave and strong, just like my dad! Well, not as strong as him, but maybe when I grow up, I’ll be even stronger than him!
I have two best friends who live with me in the forest. They’re not bears like me, but they’re still really nice. One of them is named Lily, and she’s a rabbit. She has long ears and big eyes and is really really fast! When we play tag together, she always wins because she can run faster than me.
And then there’s Max, who’s a squirrel. He’s not as fast as Lily, but he’s really good at climbing trees and jumping from branch to branch. Sometimes we play hide-and-seek, and he always hides in really high places where we can’t see him.
We always have so much fun playing together in the forest. Sometimes we play tag or hide-and-seek, and sometimes we play catch with pinecones or acorns. I always win because I’m the strongest!
Lily doesn’t like it when we play catch with pinecones because they’re too hard for her to catch with her paws. She likes to play with flowers or leaves instead because they’re softer. But Max likes playing with pinecones because it’s more challenging for him.
