Whispers of Magic: An Animatronic Love Story
Scenario: I build animatronics for Walt Disney World along with Olivia, my attractive girlfriend, who also works there.

"Happy anniversary, babe."
I smile as I hold out the bouquet of flowers to Olivia.
She takes them from me and buries her face in them, inhaling deeply.
"Thank you," she says, her voice muffled by the flowers.
"I can’t believe it’s been a year already."
I take a step closer to her and wrap my arms around her waist.
She leans into me and I press a kiss to the top of her head.
"It’s been the best year of my life."
Olivia pulls back and looks up at me with a smile on her face.
"Mine too."
She stands on her tiptoes and presses a kiss to my lips.
I deepen the kiss, pulling her body flush against mine as I run my hands down to cup her ass.
"Happy anniversary, babe."
I smile as I hold out the bouquet of flowers to Olivia.
She takes them from me and buries her face in them, inhaling deeply.
"Thank you," she says, her voice muffled by the flowers.
"I can’t believe it’s been a year already."
I take a step closer to her and wrap my arms around her waist.
She leans into me and I press a kiss to the top of her head.
"It’s been the best year of my life."
Olivia pulls back and looks up at me with a smile on her face.
"Mine too."
She stands on her tiptoes and presses a kiss to my lips.
I deepen the kiss, pulling her body flush against mine as I run my hands down to cup her ass.
I pull away, a little breathless, and smile down at Olivia before I reach into the bag and pull out a card I bought for her.
It’s not nearly as beautiful as hers, but it’s the best card I could find in such short notice.
I’m not that great at buying cards, but luckily Olivia isn’t that picky about them.
She reads it and looks up at me with a smile on her face before she reaches into the bag she’s carrying and pulls out one for me.
I read it and smile at her before I pull her into my arms again.
We both lean back against our cars and just hold each other for a moment before I pull back.
"Come on. Let me take you out to dinner."
Olivia smiles up at me and nods before she takes my hand in hers and we head toward her apartment building.
When we get there, Olivia unlocks the door and turns to me with a smile on her face.
"You better come in with me. I want to spend every second of today with you."
I nod and follow Olivia inside as she sits the flowers in front of the door.
She walks around the corner to the kitchen and grabs a vase from the pantry while I shut the door behind me.
Olivia fills it up with water before she cuts the ends of the flowers off and places them inside.
Once they are all inside, she looks around for a moment before she turns to me and smiles.
"I love them," she says before she walks over to me and wraps her arms around my neck.
"I love you."
I smile down at Olivia before I lean down to press another kiss to her lips.
"I love you too."
Olivia wraps her arms around me again and holds on for dear life as I wrap my arms around her waist and pick her up off the ground.
She laughs as I spin her around before I set her back down on her feet again.

I pull my phone back from my ear and look at it in shock when I see Sarah’s name on the screen.
She went back to work after dinner yesterday but didn’t call us last night, so I assumed everything was fine.
Olivia’s phone rings beside me so I pick it up and hand it to her while I answer mine.
"Jason," Sarah says when she picks up the other end.
"Sarah," I say as I grab my clothes from off the floor and quickly pull them on.
"What happened?"
"Jason, our prototype failed. It was supposed to be out in public all day today for testing purposes, and it failed thirty minutes ago. It needs our attention now."
"Shit," I say as I look at Olivia across the room.
She looks back at me with wide eyes before she grabs two bags from the floor and starts throwing things inside of them.
"Okay, well we’re on our way," I say as I grab my phone from off of the nightstand.
Olivia looks up at me with worry in her eyes.
"What’s going on? Is something wrong?"
"The prototype failed," I say as I grab my bag from off of the floor.
"Failed?"
"Yeah."
Olivia looks up at me in shock before she quickly throws her coat on and runs out the door.
We don’t even bother getting breakfast before we head out the door and get into Olivia’s car.
Olivia starts the engine and pulls out of her parking space before she drives us all the way back to Walt Disney World.
The prototype is a pretty big project for us, so I can see why she’s freaking out if something went wrong with it.
The next morning I get up early and head to work, but I didn’t get much sleep at all last night with our rush job from Sarah.
Olivia is still asleep when I walk out of the apartment this morning so I don’t bother her, we’ll be seeing each other soon enough anyway.
When I get to work, Sarah calls an emergency meeting in her office and we all go in there and take our seats.
Sarah looks as tired as I feel, but she also doesn’t look happy at all as she looks down at us from her chair.
She’s normally pretty happy and perky, but today she’s not happy with us at all, and I’m sure I know why that is.
"I’m very disappointed that our prototype failed yesterday," Sarah says as she folds her arms over her chest and looks down at us with wide eyes.
"Sarah, I’m sure that we can fix it. We just need some time and resources, that’s all."
Sarah shakes her head and lets out a deep sigh before she stands up and walks around her chair to sit on the edge of her desk, facing all of us.
"I’m afraid that won’t work this time, Olivia."
