Renting Love: A Husband's Lesson
Scenario: Une Histoire d'Amour et de Loyauté
Chapitre 1 : Une Offre Inattendue
Un jour, une femme nommée Emma décide de louer son mari, Henry. "Henry, montre que tu es beau pour que quelqu'un s'intéresse à toi," dit-elle en plaisantant. Peu de temps après, une femme riche et séduisante se montre intriguée par l'offre. "Combien de temps puis-je le louer ?" demande-t-elle. "Je ne fixe pas de limite de temps. Vous pouvez le renvoyer une fois qu'il aura terminé les tâches demandées," répond Emma.
La riche dame précise alors qu'elle ne prend pas Henry pour du bricolage, ce qui laisse Emma perplexe. Henry ne revient que 48 heures plus tard, visiblement contrarié. "Cette femme ne t'a pas payé ?" demande Emma. Henry la rassure en lui montrant les 1000 dollars qu'il a gagnés. "Waouh, pourquoi es-tu si contrarié alors ?" s'interroge Emma. "Je n'ai jamais gagné de l'argent d'une manière aussi étrange," répond Henry.
Chapitre 2 : Le Plan de la Riche Dame
Le lendemain, Henry prend rendez-vous avec le meilleur spécialiste de la reproduction de la ville et partage la bonne nouvelle avec Emma : "Chérie, nous nous rapprochons de notre rêve. Le docteur nous recevra dans un mois." Cependant, ils réalisent qu'il n'y a plus d'argent pour poursuivre leur plan. "Tu gagneras plus. Tu as encore tout un mois devant toi," encourage Emma.
La riche dame revient, mais Emma n'est pas pressée de laisser partir Henry. "Je n'ai aucune idée de ce que vous faites avec mon mari, donc à cause du stress supplémentaire, le prix a augmenté," dit-elle. La riche dame accepte sans hésiter. "Tu mijotes quelque chose, ma belle. Ne t'inquiète pas, je découvrirai exactement ce que c'est," pense Emma.
Chapitre 3 : La Vérité Révélée
Emma essaie de suivre la riche dame, mais cette dernière tient à sa vie privée. "Alors, tu te caches bien. Nous allons devoir augmenter le prix à nouveau," dit Emma. Tout à coup, la dame apparaît à l'extérieur, en larmes. Emma craint que la cliente mécontente ne paye pas. "Oh mon Dieu, qu'est-ce que tu fais ici ?" demande Henry. "Je garde un œil sur toi pour m'assurer que tu ne perds pas notre argent," répond Emma.
Henry assure qu'il a reçu le montant convenu et ajoute que la dame est également disposée à le louer à vie. "Vous pouvez tout prendre, juste laissez-le partir," supplie Emma, réalisant qu'elle possède une poule aux œufs d'or et n'est pas prête à accepter la première offre venue. "Henri et moi avons de grands projets ensemble. Aucun argent ne vaut notre relation," dit-elle.
Chapitre 4 : Un Choix Crucial
La riche dame fait alors une offre non à Emma, mais à Henry : "Henri, tu es une personne libre, tu peux la quitter toi-même." Henry explique qu'il doit beaucoup à sa femme : "J'ai été millionnaire mais j'ai fait faillite. Elle est restée à mes côtés et veut toujours avoir un enfant avec moi." Ces mots réchauffent le cœur d'Emma.
Emma pose alors ses conditions : "Comme tu peux le voir, je suis tout son univers. Il est donc juste que tu me donnes tout ce que tu possèdes en échange d'Henry." La riche dame accepte, mais Henry refuse : "Je vaux plus que ça."
Chapitre 5 : Le Triomphe de l'Amour
Les années suivantes, Emma et Henry travaillent dur pour réaliser leurs rêves. La riche dame, quant à elle, oublie que l'argent peut s'épuiser et se retrouve ruinée. Elle revient voir Henry, mais ne le reconnaît pas : il vit maintenant dans une maison luxueuse.
"Tu as construit cette maison en utilisant tes réserves ?" demande-t-elle. "J'ai travaillé dur pour m'offrir cette maison," répond Henry. La riche dame admet alors qu'elle a loué Henry pour impressionner son ancien petit ami. "Il est prêt à tout pour le bonheur de la personne qu'il aime," dit-elle.
Emma et Henry, unis et amoureux, sont la preuve vivante que la loyauté et l'amour sincère peuvent surmonter toutes les épreuves. "Dans les bras de la personne qui croit en vous, vous trouverez la force de réaliser ce qui semblait impossible," conclut Emma, tout en regardant Henry avec tendresse.

My husband Henry is a handsome, talented man with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
He’s also been bankrupt four times.
So when I found myself in a financial bind, I did what any loving wife would do: I rented him out to the highest bidder.
I didn’t think it would come to this.
I really didn’t.
But when Henry and I first met, he was a wealthy man with a bright future ahead of him.
He’d just graduated from college and was working as an intern at a prestigious law firm in New York City.
I was fresh out of high school and had just moved to the city to attend college at NYU.
We met at a party and hit it off right away.
Henry was charming, funny, and incredibly good-looking, with his dark hair and piercing blue eyes.
He made me laugh, and he made me feel special, like I was the only girl in the room.
We got married in a courthouse on a rainy day in July.
It wasn’t the wedding of my dreams, with white lace and roses and a handsome groom waiting for me at the altar.
In fact, I think I was the only person who showed up in a wedding dress that day.
But I didn’t care.
All I cared about was that I was marrying the man I loved, and I couldn’t wait to start our life together.
The ceremony was simple and short, and before I knew it, I was walking down the makeshift aisle, my eyes locked on Henry, who was standing at the end, tears in his eyes as he promised to love me forever.
He looked so handsome in his black suit, and I felt like the luckiest girl in the world to be marrying him.
Afterward, we went out to lunch with our closest friends and family to celebrate.
I remember feeling so happy that day, so full of love and hope for the future.
It’s been almost 10 years since that day, and I’m happy to say that I still feel the same way.

We’ll have children and grandchildren and a big house in the country where we can spend our days gardening and baking cookies for our grandkids.
And no matter how old he gets or how much his hairline recedes, Henry will always be my Prince Charming.
The guests at our wedding may have thought we were crazy for getting married so young, but they couldn’t deny how much we loved each other.
Our happiness was evident in every smile and every laugh, in every stolen glance and gentle touch.
Together, Henry and I have shared so many special moments, so many laughs, and so much love, but over the years, he’s given me something even more precious: our two beautiful children.
I’m happy to say that our love life is still as vibrant as ever, too.
Even after all these years, Henry still makes my heart flutter when he kisses me or touches me in that special way that only he knows how to do.
I like to blame it on his law-school education, but really, it’s all him.
We’ve always had a great time in the bedroom, ever since the first time he kissed me all those years ago, when we were still just two young kids in love, trying to figure out what it meant to be adults.
And even now, after everything we’ve been through, the two of us are still as close as ever, both emotionally and physically, finding solace and completeness in each other’s presence.
I never thought I would be so lucky as to find a man I loved as much as Henry, let alone one who felt the same way about me, but that’s exactly what happened, and I will be forever grateful for the gift of his love.
When Henry told me he’d been bankrupt four times, I was stunned.
Bankruptcy is not something you hear about every day, especially from someone you love.
But as much as the news shocked me, it didn’t change the way I felt about him.
It didn’t make him any less handsome, or funny, or charming.
And more than anything, it didn’t make me love him any less.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I didn’t care how much money Henry had.
All that mattered was that he was the man I loved, and that he loved me back.
I could live in a cardboard box and be happy as long as I had him by my side.
Henry has always had big dreams and a desire to make a name for himself.
He wanted to become a lawyer so he could help people and fight for justice, but after a couple of years of working at a law firm, he decided he’d had enough of being someone else’s employee and that it was time for him to start his own firm.
I have always believed in Henry and his dreams, so I supported his decision 100 percent.
And even though things didn’t work out quite the way we’d hoped, I know that one day they will.
We’ve hit a few bumps along the way, but every time we do, we get back up and try again, because we know that as long as we have each other, there’s nothing we can’t do.
One of those bumps came not long after we got married, when Henry lost all of our savings on a failed business venture.
We’d been saving up to buy a house, and I was devastated when he told me the news.
But I knew that as long as we were together, everything would be all right.
We could always make more money, but true love is something you can never replace.
So I gave Henry a hug and told him it would be okay.
But even after we moved to New Orleans, where Henry took a job at a law firm to rebuild our savings, things still weren’t easy for us.
I’d never been to New Orleans before, but Henry had visited once on a school trip and fell in love with the city, so we decided to move there when we got married.
Unfortunately, that was the only thing that went according to plan, and our time in New Orleans has not been easy for us.
When we moved here, we thought we would be able to buy a house right away, but after we lost all of our savings, we decided to rent an apartment instead and start over from scratch.
Henry is working at a law firm, and even though he makes a decent salary, he works long hours and has very little time for anything else, including me.
I know that he’s doing everything he can to provide for us, but I miss him terribly and wish that we could spend more time together like we used to—just the two of us, without a care in the world.
But the biggest struggle for us has been trying to make ends meet, because even though Henry makes a good salary, we have a lot of expenses and very little money in our bank account.
When we moved here, we thought that we would be able to start a family right away, but after two failed in-vitro fertilization treatments, we’re still not pregnant.
I never thought it would be so hard for us to have a baby, and although we’re both disappointed that it hasn’t happened yet, we’re still hopeful that one day it will.
In the meantime, though, we’re doing our best to stay positive and focus on the things that are most important to us—our love for each other and the life we’ve built together.
“I know exactly what you need,” I say with a wink as I step out of the bathroom and make my way over to the bed where Henry is sitting.
“What’s that?” he asks as he looks up from his computer and gives me a tired smile.
“A night out on the town,” I say as I pull Henry up from his chair.
“Come on.
Let’s go out to dinner.
My treat.”Henry’s eyes light up at the mention of food, and I can tell that he wants to say yes, but he hesitates instead.
“I’m not sure if we can afford it,” he says with a frown.
“Don’t worry about it,” I say with a dismissive wave of my hand.
“We can rent you out to the highest bidder and make a small fortune.”
I know that wasn’t funny.
I can tell by the look on Henry’s face that he’s not amused by my joke.
But I can’t help myself.
I hate seeing him like this and not knowing what to do to make him feel better.
I know that life hasn’t been easy for us these last few years and that we’re both struggling to make ends meet.
But we’re in this together and we can get through anything as long as we have each other.
I love Henry more than anything in this world and would do anything to make him happy.
So when he looks at me with those sad puppy dog eyes and tells me that he hates it when I talk like that, I give him a big hug and tell him that everything is going to be all right.
