Titanic Flying scene but with actress Miriam Leone instead of Kate Winslet
I was only twenty when I first met him.
I had just moved to Los Angeles from Sicily, and I was auditioning for a role in a movie.
I was nervous, and I could feel my hands shaking as I waited for my turn.
The casting director called my name, and I walked into the room.
There were three people sitting at the table, and as soon as I saw him, I froze.
He was tall with classic Hollywood looks, and he had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen.
He smiled at me, and his eyes crinkled at the corners.
“Take a seat,” he said, gesturing to the chair in front of the table.
I sat down, and he introduced himself as Leonardo DiCaprio.
I couldn’t believe it was really him sitting in front of me.
He was one of the biggest actors in Hollywood, and here he was auditioning me for a role in a movie.
I tried to keep my cool as he asked me questions about myself and my acting experience.
I’d always wanted to be an actress, ever since I was a little girl growing up in a small town in Sicily.
When I was eighteen, I moved to Rome to study acting, and two years later, I had made my way to Hollywood.
I was determined to make it in the city of stars, and I hoped that this audition would be my big break.
As I talked, I couldn’t help but notice how handsome Leonardo was, and I could feel myself getting flustered.
“Sorry,” I said, blushing.
“I’m just a little nervous.”
He smiled at me again, and his eyes sparkled in a way that made my heart skip a beat.
“It’s okay,” he said.
“Don’t be nervous.
We’re just here to get to know you a little better, that’s all.”
I took a deep breath and tried to relax.
He was right—I had nothing to be nervous about.
I was just talking to him like I would any other person.
It was just that he was so famous and so incredibly good-looking, but I couldn’t let that get to me.
“Okay,” I said, taking another deep breath.
“So, what do you want to know?”
He chuckled and leaned back in his chair.
“Tell me about your family,” he said.
“Do you have any brothers or sisters?”
I nodded and launched into the story of my family, telling him all about my parents and my three older brothers.
As I talked, I could see his eyes light up, and he smiled at me in a way that made me feel like he was really listening to what I had to say.
It was nice to have someone pay attention to me like that, especially when it was someone as handsome as Leonardo.
Before I knew it, we had been talking for almost twenty minutes.
The casting director called him away for a moment, and he stood up and excused himself before leaving the room.
I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves.
I couldn’t believe that I had just spent almost twenty minutes talking to Leonardo DiCaprio himself!
It was like something out of a dream.
I was still trying to calm myself down when the door opened and Leonardo walked back into the room.
“Sorry about that,” he said with a smile as he sat down at the table.
“Now—”
The casting director cut him off and told me to start the audition scene they had given me to prepare.
My heart started pounding in my chest, and I could feel a cold sweat breaking out on my forehead as I stood up and made my way to the center of the room.
There were a few moments of silence as everyone got settled, and then the casting director gave me a nod to start.
I took a deep breath and tried to put everything out of my mind except for the scene in front of me.
I remembered all of my training and let my emotions take over as I threw myself into the scene with everything I had.
When I finished, there was a moment of silence before the casting director clapped and told me that was enough for today.

He walked around the table towards me and held out his hand for me to shake.
“Thank you for coming in,” he said with a smile.
“You were wonderful.”
I thanked him and shook his hand before grabbing my bag and making my way towards the door.
“Miriam,” Leonardo called out as I reached for the doorknob.
I turned around, and he motioned for me to come back over to him.
“Are you still living in Sicily?”
he asked when I reached him.
“Not exactly,” I said with a small smile as I sat down across from him at the table again.
“I moved there when I was seventeen with a group of other girls from my village.”
“Your village?”
he asked with a chuckle when he noticed the look of confusion on my face.
“Yeah,” I said with a nod.
“I grew up in a really small village in Sicily with only about a hundred people, but it was always my dream to be an actress, so when I turned seventeen, a few of my friends and I moved to Rome together to go to acting school.”
“How did your parents feel about that?”
he asked, and I could see the concern in his eyes as he leaned forward in his chair.
“They weren’t too happy about it at first,” I admitted with a small shrug, “but they knew how important it was to me, so they let me go.”
He nodded and smiled at me again, and I felt a warm sensation spread through my chest as he did so.
“What about your friends?”
he asked after a moment, and I could see the curiosity in his eyes as he spoke.
“Are they still in Rome?”
I shook my head and let out a small chuckle, and he arched an eyebrow at me in question as he did so.
“They didn’t last long in Rome,” I said with a small shrug, “but I stayed and managed to finish school before moving here to try and make a career for myself.”
“And how’s that going for you?”
he asked with a smile, and I could see the mischief in his eyes as he spoke.
I blushed and looked down at my hands in my lap, suddenly feeling very self-conscious as I sat there in front of him in silence for a few moments before speaking again.
“I don’t have any acting experience,” I said after a moment, my voice barely above a whisper as I spoke.
The truth was, I had been in a few school plays when I was younger, but that was it.
I had dropped out of high school before moving away, so I hadn’t had much opportunity to pursue acting beyond that point.
I was embarrassed by my lack of experience, especially sitting in front of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but I didn’t want to lie to him either; that would be unfair to both him and myself.
He nodded and leaned back in his chair again, and I could see the disappointment in his eyes even though he tried to hide it from me behind a warm smile.
“That’s okay,” he said after a moment, “not everyone starts acting when they’re young.
Have you taken any acting classes or workshops since moving here?”

I shook my head, and his smile widened as I did so, and I could feel myself relaxing again, the warmth spreading through my chest once more as I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and spoke.
“I haven’t had the chance to attend any classes or workshops,” I admitted, “but I hope to once I save up enough money.”
His eyes widened slightly as I said this, and I could see the surprise in his eyes as he spoke again after a moment, his tone a mixture of curiosity and approval as he did so.
“What have you been doing since you moved here then?”
I laughed and shook my head, and his smile widened again as I did so, and I could see the warmth in his eyes as he spoke again after a moment, leaning forward in his chair once more as he did so.
“What made you decide you wanted to become an actress, then?”
he asked, and I could see the genuine interest in his eyes as he spoke, and I found myself opening up to him more than I had planned on doing when I walked into the room earlier that day.
