Write a werewolf series of the skinwalker joining a pack and going for an alpha. Knowing that it is impossible to gain access to him she uses magic to seduce him.
I was a liar, a seductress, and a killer.
But most of all, I was a skinwalker.
And I was about to infiltrate the most powerful werewolf pack in the country.
The full moon hung low in the sky as I approached the pack’s territory.
The closer I got, the more my skin itched, begging me to shift into my animal form and run free through the forest.
But I couldn’t afford to be caught by the wolves.
Not yet, anyway.
I had to get inside first.
I’d spent months planning this mission, and I wasn’t about to let it all go to waste now.
I’d heard rumors about Aiden Blackwood, the alpha of the Blackwood pack.
He was young for an alpha, only twenty-five years old, but he was already one of the most powerful shifters in the country.
He’d taken over as alpha when his father died in a rogue attack five years ago and had been ruling with an iron fist ever since.
Which was why he was the perfect target for my mission.
I’d been tasked with infiltrating the Blackwood pack and seducing their alpha.
It was a dangerous mission, and not one for the faint of heart.
But I was no stranger to danger.
I’d been a spy and an assassin for as long as I could remember, and I was very, very good at my job.
But this mission was different.
This time, I would be using dark, forbidden magic to seduce my target.
Magic that would make him want me, body and soul, no matter what it took.
Magic that could destroy him if he ever found out what I’d done.
The prospect of using dark magic should have frightened me, but it didn’t.
If anything, it only made the mission more exhilarating.
I took a deep breath to steady myself and stepped over the boundary line into the Blackwood pack’s territory.
My heart pounded in my chest, a mix of fear and excitement flooding through me.
I knew what was at stake if I failed this mission.
But I also knew that if I succeeded, I would finally have my revenge.
And that was worth any risk.
The journey to the Blackwood pack’s territory had taken me weeks.
I’d traveled on foot, avoiding towns and cities where I could be recognized.
I’d slept in forests and caves, hunting for my food and bathing in rivers along the way.
It hadn’t been easy, but I was determined to get to the pack as quickly as possible.
The full moon had arrived sooner than expected, but it hadn’t slowed me down.
If anything, it had only made me more determined to reach my destination as quickly as possible.
The closer I got to the pack’s territory, the stronger the pull of the moon became, urging me to shift into something faster and stronger than my human form.
But I couldn’t afford to be caught by the wolves now.
Not when I was so close to completing my mission.
So instead, I forced myself to keep one foot in front of the other and pressed on through the forest.
The trees were so thick here that not even the light of the full moon could penetrate their canopy.
But my eyes were sharp, and I knew exactly where I was going.
It wasn’t long before I reached the edge of the pack’s territory.
A shiver ran down my spine as I gazed out into the forest that lay beyond it.
I’d finally made it.
Now all that was left to do was find Aiden Blackwood and make him mine.
Chapter One: Elara Thorne
I’ve always been good at getting what I want.
Ensnaring the Alpha
No matter who i have to deceive.
The sound of croaking frogs and chirping crickets filled the air as Elara Thorne made her way through the dense forest.
She’d never been to this part of the country before and had only a vague idea of where she was going, but that didn’t matter to her.
She knew what she was looking for and she wouldn’t stop until she found it.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she navigated through the trees, each step bringing her closer to her goal.
She knew how dangerous this mission was, how much was at stake if she failed, but she wasn’t afraid.
If anything, it only made her more determined to succeed.
The Blackwood pack had a fearsome reputation and were known for their brutality and violence.
Under Aiden Blackwood’s rule they’d grown more powerful than ever before and no one dared to stand in their way.
But Elara didn’t care about any of that.
She’d been sent here for a reason and she wouldn’t leave until she completed her mission no matter what it took.
The full moon hung low in the sky and cast an ethereal glow across the forest floor, bathing everything in its silvery light.
Elara hesitated for a moment as she felt its pull deep within her bones, a primal urge awakening in her blood.
For a second she thought about giving in to it and shifting into her animal form for the last leg of her journey, but she quickly pushed the thought from her mind.
Not yet, anyway.
She still had work to do before she could reveal her true nature to anyone else.
Shaking off the sensation, she continued on through the trees, moving quickly and quietly through the darkness with little more than a whisper of sound to give away her presence.
Elara was a skinwalker with the power to shift into any animal of her choosing.
It was a rare gift that few people possessed, and even fewer were able to control.
But Elara was different.
She was strong and powerful and had spent her entire life learning how to harness the magic within her.
She knew the risks of using her abilities openly in front of others, especially those who were unfamiliar with the power of a skinwalker.
So instead she kept her true nature hidden from the world around her, using it only when absolutely necessary.
She hadn’t been this close to a pack of werewolves since she was just a child.
But this time would be different.
This time she knew exactly what she was getting herself into and was prepared for the danger that lay ahead.
The crackling of flames in the distance pulled her from her thoughts and brought her back to the present.
Elara paused for a moment and took a deep breath, savoring the scent of burning wood in the air.
She was close now.
It was time.
Ensnaring the Alpha
Ducking down low, Elara carefully made her way over to the edge of the clearing and peered out into the moonlight.
The pack had gathered for their full moon celebration and were milling around the large bonfire at the center of the clearing, laughing and talking amongst themselves.
The fire cast flickering shadows on the ground and the air was thick with the scent of sweat and anticipation.
Several members of the pack were already stripped down to their skin, their naked bodies glistening with sweat, as they danced and cavorted around the flames.
Large wooden structures marked the boundaries of the pack’s territory, a visible reminder of the rules they lived by.
But even so, some members of the pack still darted back and forth across the line, testing the boundaries of their power.
Elara stood at the edge of the clearing and watched them for a moment, taking it all in.
Her heart raced in her chest as she surveyed the scene, searching for any sign of Aiden Blackwood, the alpha who ruled over this pack.
She knew that he would be a formidable adversary, rumored to be one of the strongest alphas in all the land.
But Elara didn’t care.
She had faced many dangerous men before and had always come out on top.
It was only a matter of time before Aiden Blackwood was no different.
Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Elara stepped out from the concealment of the trees and into the glow of the firelight for all the world to see.
The pack members turned to look at her, their eyes assessing and curious.
Elara smiled and raised her hands in a gesture of peace, trying her best to appear harmless and inviting.
It was important that she gained the trust of at least one member of the pack if she was going to be successful in her mission.
Luckily for her, it seemed, that would be an easy task.
She saw her target almost immediately and locked eyes with the young woman who stood at the edge of the clearing watching her every move.
Elara forced herself to smile and waved at the girl, hoping that this would be enough to put her at ease and make her more receptive to Elara’s approach.
The girl’s eyes widened for a moment as if she were surprised by Elara’s appearance and then quickly narrowed as if she were trying to figure out what this stranger wanted from her.
For a moment, Elara panicked and thought that perhaps the girl could see through her disguise and was about to give her away.
But then the girl smiled back at her, sweet and innocent, and beckoned for her to come closer.
Encouraged by this small gesture of kindness, Elara stepped further into the clearing and walked towards the young woman who had caught her eye earlier.
She could hear the whispers of the other wolves as they watched her approach, their curiosity about this stranger piqued by the appearance of a new face amongst them.
But Elara ignored them and kept walking until she was standing right in front of the girl.
