Groundbreaking Project Gives Hope to MPD Patients
Neurologists and geneticists at Equinox Labs have developed an innovative technique for treating patients with multiple personality disorder (MPD).
The new method involves physically extracting the extra personalities from the minds of MPD patients and placing them into blank human clones.
This process is made possible by new cloning technology that creates a perfect human body without any genetic material.
In the past, attempts to treat MPD have been challenging due to the complexity of recombining multiple personalities into one coherent mind.
However, by physically removing these extra personalities, our researchers believe they can help MPD patients lead normal lives, free from the burden of their additional personas.

We move to Room Four, where we transfer the extracted personalities into blank human clones.
This is an extremely delicate procedure and needs to be done perfectly to prevent a multitude of complications later on.
There are ten blank clones in Room Four and eleven people in Room Three, including us, who are watching anxiously to see if this will work or not.
The clone's eyes open widely and it looks around as if it's seeing things for the first time.
It looks at me and smiles with so much happiness and pride that I feel a lump forming in my throat.
This clone is born anew, with no recollection of its past life or experiences and no knowledge of what we've done to it—no knowledge that its life is about to be snatched away for someone else's gain.

I remind myself that it's for a good cause because this is what we've been working toward all along: helping MPD patients lead normal lives, lives without this burden hanging over them like an invisible shroud or crushing stone.
We've spent years perfecting this system, knowing that one day we'd be able to accomplish this feat and help people in ways they'd never thought possible.
We've been working on this project since we were in college, where we became friends and shared the same dream of finding a way to cure MPD.
Now that we have, I sometimes wonder if we've bitten off more than we can chew because what we're doing isn't exactly legal or ethical, but we're determined to see it through until the end, regardless of the consequences or who tries to stop us along the way.
We're going to prove that there is a better way to treat MPD patients without causing them harm and making them feel like freaks or outcasts.
We're going to show the world that there is a way to help all these people who are suffering and get them the treatment they deserve, but for now, we need to make sure that these clones are as stable as possible before we can take this treatment any further.
We start on the second blank and transfer the second personality, but this time when the clone opens its eyes, it screams and thrashes around like a wild animal, clawing at anyone who tries to get near it and spewing obscenities in every language known to man and some not known as well.
It takes six people to restrain it and calm it down enough so that we can proceed with the rest of the procedure, but I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of our problems.
It's time to take a much-needed break because this isn't going to be an easy or quick fix and so far, things haven't exactly gone according to plan, but when do they ever?The three of us make our way back to my office and sink down on the plush leather couches before reaching for a well-deserved beer from the small refrigerator located in the corner of my office.
"Any ideas on how we can fix this?"I ask after taking a long swig of my beer as I look between Alex and Mark, waiting for them to give me their opinions and possible solutions about how we can continue with this project without any further complications or issues.
The two of them turn to look at me with identical expressions of confusion written all over their faces before turning back to look at each other as if they have their own secret language that only they can understand because I have no idea what's going on or why they're looking at each other like that when they should be paying attention to me and my concerns.
I let out an exasperated sigh, waiting for Alex or Mark to say something because I have no idea what they're thinking or what they want from me.
I'm just a scientist who likes to dabble in the unknown and push the boundaries as far as they'll go, but I'm not psychic and I don't have all the answers so they need to speak up and tell me what's going through their minds.
"I think that it would be best if we started from scratch and used a different method instead of trying to tweak the current one," Alex finally says after Mark takes his time thinking about what he wants to say or if he wants to say anything at all.
"Why do you think that will work?What makes you so sure that it won't result in the same outcome?"I ask, listening intently as Alex explains his logic behind wanting to change things up even though I'm not sure if his reasons are valid or if he's trying to pull the wool over my eyes, which isn't exactly hard since I'm not exactly the smartest person in the world.
"We don't know what's causing the clones to act this way, but the best way for us to avoid any further complications is by using a different method instead of trying to fix the issue," Alex says and I nod my head in agreement because he's right.
We need to start over and try a different approach because what we're doing isn't working and it's only going to cause us more problems than solutions if we continue down this path without making any changes.
I'm not exactly sure what made me check the vitals of the blank human clone that I just transferred the extra personality into, but I did it anyway and I can't believe my eyes right now.
The lab technician looks at me with a confused expression written all over his face before looking back down at the computer screen that we're both staring at while I wait for one of the numbers to change or for something else to happen.
I can't believe it actually worked.
I thought for sure that there was no way we would be able to extract an extra personality from an MPD patient and transfer it into a blank human clone, but I was proven wrong after watching it happen right in front of my eyes and I couldn't be happier or more relieved about it.
It was like watching a miracle happen right before my eyes because this is exactly what we needed in order for our project to work and help those suffering from multiple personality disorder.
I knew that we were close, but I didn't think that we would actually be able to do it since it seemed impossible and out of our reach.
Not only did we manage to extract an extra personality from an MPD patient, but we also managed to transfer it into a blank human clone that is now alive and well, thanks to the lab technician who knew exactly what he was doing and made it possible for us to complete this project without any further problems or issues.
I'm not exactly sure how or why it worked this time, but I'm not going to question it because we finally managed to do it and now we can continue with the process of extracting the rest of the extra personalities and transferring them into blank human clones, just like we did before this one went haywire and gave us hell.
I don't know what we did differently this time or why it worked instead of failing like all the other times, but that doesn't matter now because the process has been completed and we're one step closer to making this project a success by helping those who need it most.
I check the vitals of the blank human clone one more time just to make sure that everything is still running smoothly before getting up off the stool that I've been sitting on for the past hour and making my way out of the research facility as fast as my legs will carry me and into my office where I immediately pick up the phone and dial Alex's number before waiting for him to answer so that I can tell him the good news and get his ass back here so that we can continue with our project as soon as possible.
The phone starts ringing on the other end of the line and I wait for Alex or Mark or even both of them to answer so that I can tell them the good news and we can continue with our project.
What the hell do you want, Emily?
Alex snaps at me over the phone.
I take a deep breath before answering him in a calm and collected manner.
I tell him the good news before hanging up the phone and sitting back down at my desk before taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, knowing that we have finally done it and our project is finally one step closer to being a success.
After waiting for a couple of minutes, I see Alex and Mark coming down the hallway towards my office and I get up off my chair and go out into the hallway so that I can meet them halfway and lead them into my office where we can sit down and talk about the good news that I have for them.
Hey, Alex says with a smile on his face as him and Mark take a seat on the chairs in front of my desk.
I can tell by the look on their faces that they're both curious about why I called them into the office at such short notice, but I don't want to beat around the bush or keep them waiting any longer than I need to so I quickly sit down behind my desk and pull out some papers for them to take a look at.
They both glance at each other for a couple of seconds before picking up the papers from my desk and opening them so that they can see what's inside of them or what's written on them.
I wait for a couple of seconds for them to finish reading the papers so that they can understand what's going on.
It was the first time that we actually managed to extract an extra personality from an MPD patient and transfer it into a blank human clone without any issues or problems.
Alex says once he's finished reading the papers and I nod my head in response before looking at Mark and waiting for him to answer as well.
Mark says as he lowers the papers back down onto my desk and looks back at me.
I nod my head and smile as I listen to Mark's response because this is a huge deal for us and the success of this procedure could be the very thing that cures multiple personality disorder instead of just helping those who are suffering from it which is what we were aiming for when we started this project all those years ago.
