Elara created an time travel machine when suddenly somethong goes wrong
I’d always been fascinated by time travel.
What would it be like to watch history unfold before your very eyes?
To speak to the people of the past, and view the world through their eyes?
The concept of time travel was something that had always intrigued me, but I’d never thought it would be possible.
It was just something for me to think about when I was bored.
Then I’d decided to try and build a time machine.
My garage had been my makeshift laboratory for a couple of years now, and although a lot of my experiments had failed, I had still learned many things.
I’d always been an inventor at heart, and I’d created a lot of things over the years: a robot that could talk, and a glove that could shoot lasers.
I’d gotten pretty good at building things, but my time machine was going to be my best invention yet.
I’d spent all my free time working on it.
Even though I had a full-time job, I’d still spent most of my nights and weekends in my garage trying to make it work.
It was hard work, but it was fun.
I never got tired of trying to create new things.
I never got bored of it.
Over the years, my garage had turned into a mess of wires, gadgets and gizmos.
You could hardly move around in it, but it didn’t bother me.
I knew where everything was, even in the messiest corners.
Everything had a place in my garage.
As soon as I walked inside, I breathed in the familiar smell of rubber, metal and oil.
The air was dry and hot.
I’d spent so many hours inside this garage working on my machine that I couldn’t even begin to count them all.
So many hours spent trying to defy science.
At least, that’s what James called it.
He was my best friend, and he often came over to help me work on my machine.
He was tall with dark hair, and bright blue eyes that sparkled when he smiled.
We’d met in college when we were both studying science, and we’d hit it off right away.
We’d done most things together ever since.
I loved having him around when I was working on my machine.
“Do you really think this is going to work?”
he’d asked me one day as he studied the plans that I’d pinned to the wall.
“I know it will,” I said with a smile.
He looked at me doubtfully.
“You’re looking at me like I’m crazy, but I’m not.”
He raised his eyebrows and said, “A time machine? You have to admit, it sounds a little far-fetched.
It’s not far-fetched,” I said with a frown.
“It’s the greatest invention anyone has ever created.”
James rolled his eyes at me.
I’d been saying that for weeks now.
I couldn’t wait to prove him wrong.
He was a lot more cautious than me, and he often questioned the things that I did, but I knew that he would be impressed once I had completed it.
It was going to be the most amazing thing anyone had ever seen.
I couldn’t wait until it was finished.
I often thought about how much I hated wasting time on things.
So many people spent their lives doing things they didn’t want to do, and that made me sad.
Elara created an time travel machine when suddenly somethong goes
I wanted to spend my life doing the things I loved.
I didn’t know where I would be without my dad.
He’d been my rock for so many years.
When my mom had left us, I knew that he’d had a hard time dealing with it.
I was only ten years old back then, and I didn’t remember much of what had happened.
I remembered bits and pieces of them arguing, and I remembered my mom crying a lot.
But I didn’t remember much else.
I was glad about that.
The memories I had of my mom weren’t great ones, and I wasn’t sad that I didn’t remember more of them.
My dad was my best friend and my confidante.
He was the person I could go to if I needed help, or if I needed advice.
He was also the person who pushed me to do the things I wanted to do.
I was always grateful for the influence he’d had on my life.
He was a great man, and I missed him every single day.
I missed his smile, his laugh, and his big bear hugs.
I missed the way he smelled, and the way he looked at me like I was the most beautiful girl in the world.
I missed everything about him.
I missed him even more now that I was working on my time machine.
I knew he would have been so proud of me if he’d seen how far I’d come.
He’d always believed in me, even when no one else did.
Even when people said that my ideas were far-fetched and impossible, my dad never did.
He always told me that I could do anything if I set my mind to it, and I never forgot that.
It helped shape me into the person I was today: determined, passionate and unstoppable.
I often thought about the good times we’d shared together, and it made me happy.
It brought a smile to my face just thinking about him telling me that everything was going to be all right, even when it wasn’t.
It made everything seem better just thinking about it, and it gave me the strength to keep going even when things were tough.
so you think you can do it?”
James asked as he watched me working on my machine another night in my garage.
I shrugged and said, “Who knows?
I was sitting at my workbench, my fingers covered in oil as I worked on the circuits in the back of my machine.
I knew that I was close to making it work, but I just wasn’t sure how close I was yet.
James watched the sparks fly out of one of the wires and he grimaced.
“I’m really not sure this is safe,” he said as he sat down next to me and watched me work.
“It’s perfectly safe,” I said with a smile as I turned around and took off my safety goggles for just a second so that I could look him in the eye.
He raised an eyebrow and said, “Are you sure about that?”
I put my goggles back on and said, “Positive,” before turning back around and getting back to work.
I knew that James was worried, but I wasn’t concerned in the slightest.
I’d done this a million times before, and nothing bad had happened yet.

I picked up a wrench and worked on tightening up some of the screws in the back of the machine.
I’d been working for hours on end, and I’d barely managed to make a dent in the mess that was my garage so far.
It was filled with all sorts of contraptions and tools, and there were wires everywhere.
It looked like the garage of a mad scientist, and I had to admit that I really loved it like that.
It made me feel like I was working on something important, even if it was just a silly little time machine, and I loved that feeling more than anything else in the world.
It was sort of like an addiction for me, but I didn’t mind that in the slightest.
I knew that I was different from other people in more ways than one, and I was okay with that.
I thought that being different was something special, and I liked being quirky and unique more than anything else in the world.
I leaned back in my chair at the workbench and wiped the sweat off my forehead with the back of my hand.
I smiled as I looked at the snack I had waiting for me not too far away.
I loved taking little breaks while I worked so I could indulge in a quick bite to eat.
My stomach rumbled hungrily as I reached for half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
I took a huge bite out of it before leaning back in my chair and relishing the delicious taste.
I loved peanut butter and jelly sandwiches more than anything else in the world, and this one tasted amazing.
I loved the taste of the peanut butter mixed with the jelly on the bread, and I loved the texture of the sandwich as well.
There was nothing better than taking a few moments out of a busy day to enjoy a delicious snack, and I loved doing it as often as I could.
I ate the rest of the sandwich quickly before getting up from my chair and throwing the crust away into the trash can.
I walked over to the machine and turned it on before sitting down at my workbench once again.
I knew that I was getting closer now than I had been before, but I still had a long way to go before I would be done with this.
I was going to have to make sure that everything was just perfect if I wanted this machine to work, and I wasn’t going to stop until everything was flawless.
My dad had always told me that when he taught me how to do all sorts of different things when I was a kid.
He told me that no matter what you were doing, you needed to make sure that you did everything right all the way through or it wasn’t worth doing at all.
I’d taken those words very seriously because I’d looked up to him more than anyone else in the world.
He’d been the most important person in my life for as long as I could remember, and I’d always wanted to make him proud.

I worked well into the night, only occasionally stopping to take a break to eat or drink something.
I was so close to the end that I could practically taste victory, but I still needed to keep pushing on if I wanted this to work.
I knew that I was so close now that I could practically reach out and grab it, so I knew that I needed to keep going no matter what happened.
I worked well into the night, not even stopping to go to sleep until I was done, which was something that I didn’t do often.
I never let my projects get to me like that because I didn’t want to be exhausted the next day, but tonight was different for some reason, so I kept working until I was done.
When I finally finished my project, I knew that I’d done something great, so I jumped up out of my chair and threw my hands into the air with a huge grin on my face.
I felt a wave of euphoria wash over me as my body trembled with excitement, and I didn’t know how to handle it at first.
It took me a few moments before I realized what had happened, but when I did, I knew that I would never forget that moment as long as I lived.
It was a moment when everything came together perfectly, and everything just seemed to fall into place without a problem.
I’d been waiting for this moment for so long that I could hardly believe that it had finally arrived.
Everything was over now, but in a good way, because I knew that my life would never be the same again after this.
I took a deep breath to calm myself down before walking over to the machine to take a better look at it.
When I was finished, I leaned back against my work bench and let out a long sigh of relief as I looked down at the small machine in front of me.
The thing was only about the size of a large suitcase, but somehow, that tiny little thing was able to do what some people believed was impossible.
It was a time machine, one that actually worked, even though most people didn’t think such a thing was possible.
I smiled as I looked at the small machine in front of me because I felt a wave of pride wash over me at that moment.
I knew that I’d done something great, even if most people didn’t see it that way.
I’d been working on this thing for months now, trying to figure everything out.
It had been a real pain in the ass at first, but eventually I figured out what I was doing, and things started going a lot more smoothly for me.
I’d had a few problems here and there along the way, but I’d managed to get through them without too much trouble.
I’d lost a lot of sleep over this project, but I’d known that it wouldn’t be easy when I started.
The whole point of this project was to prove the people who said that time travel wasn’t possible wrong once and for all, but now that I’d finally done that, I didn’t know what I was going to do.
I hated to admit it, but I didn’t know if I had anything left in me to keep going like this in the future.

“James,” I said as I turned to look at my best friend.
He was standing in the doorway of the makeshift laboratory that we’d set up in my garage, staring down at the small machine in front of me with a stunned expression on his face.
I couldn’t really blame him for looking like that either because most people would probably react the same way if they were in his shoes right now.
I could hardly believe it myself.
I’d been waiting for this moment since before we even started on this project together over a year ago.
The first time that I’d shown him what I was working on, he hadn’t believed that it would work.
I couldn’t really blame him for that because deep down inside even I’d known that it wasn’t going to be easy.
It had taken me a lot longer than I’d expected to get everything figured out, but now that I had done that everything had worked perfectly.
He looked up at me when he heard me call his name, his eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at me as though he thought he might be dreaming.
“I’m guessing that you’re not dreaming then,” I said with a small smile as I gave him a small wave.
The look on his face was priceless as he stared at me as though he thought I was crazy, but then he shook his head and took a step toward the machine, extending his hand to touch the smooth metal surface of the machine before he quickly pulled his hand back like he thought he might get burned if he touched it for too long.
I knew that I was grinning like an idiot, but I couldn’t help myself, and I didn’t really want to stop now either.
The smile on my face only grew wider as I watched him take another step toward the machine, and then he turned to look at me as though he didn’t know what to do next.
“What the hell is that?”
he asked, staring down at the machine as though he thought he might see some kind of monster crawling out of it at any moment now.
“Is that a time machine?”
I couldn’t help myself when I heard him ask that question, and I let out a loud laugh as I nodded my head.
“Yeah,” I said with a grin as I cleared my throat to speak again.
“It’s a time machine.”
James stared down at the machine for a long time after I answered his question, but then he finally tore his gaze away from the machine so that he could look up at me again.
“I don’t believe you,” he said, shaking his head as he took another step toward me.
“You can’t be serious.”
“Oh, but I am,” I said with a grin as I took a step toward him so I could take his hand in mine so that I could pull him closer to the bench so I could show him the machine better.
“It’s right here in front of you.”
The look on his face was priceless when he saw the machine up close for the first time, and I knew that he must have thought he was dreaming for sure by now because most people wouldn’t believe what they were seeing if they were in his shoes right now either.
Elara created an time travel machine when suddenly somethong goes
“Holy shit,” he said, shaking his head as he looked up at me again with wide eyes.
As I watched him, I couldn’t help but laugh, but I was just as excited as he was because I knew that there was no way that I was dreaming right now, and I had to pinch myself to make sure that this moment was real, but I had been dreaming of this moment for so long that I knew that it had to be real, and the machine was right there in front of us, and it wasn’t going anywhere, and I knew that there was nothing in the world that could ruin this moment for me now that we’d finally made it this far.“So what are you going to do next?”
James asked, looking up at me with wide eyes as he stared at me like he thought I was going to turn into a monster or something right before his very eyes.
“Are you going to test it out?”
“I already did,” I said with a grin as I took a step back from the machine so that I could point to the screen so that he could see that everything on it was still as I had left it after I’d set up the test earlier that day.
When James saw the screen, he let out a low whistle as he shook his head, and I couldn’t help but laugh again because he looked like he thought he was going insane or something because he still didn’t believe anything that was happening was real even though he was seeing everything with his own two eyes.
“That’s incredible,” he said, shaking his head again as he stared at the screen for a moment longer before he finally turned away from the machine so that he could look up at me again.
“So what are you going to do now?”
“I’m not really sure,” I said with a shrug of my shoulders as I looked down at the machine so that I could take another deep breath before I turned back around so that I could look at James again.
“I guess we should celebrate.”
“Now you’re talking,” James said with a grin, and I didn’t have to ask him twice before he took my hand in mine so that he could lead us out of the garage so that we could go into the house so we could find some food.
“Pizza and beer?”
Elara created an time travel machine when suddenly somethong goes
“Pizza and beer,” James agreed, and I could see the happiness in his eyes before we went into the house and found the menu for our favorite pizza place so that we could call and order some food.
The moment that James was out of the room, I turned around so that I could go back into the garage so that I could check on the machine once more, and even though I knew that it wasn’t necessary, I couldn’t help myself because there was a part of me that was worried that it had all been a dream and that the machine wouldn’t actually work when it all came down to it.
But when I walked back into the garage and saw the machine, I let out a sigh of relief when I saw that it was still there, and even though I couldn’t see the display from where it was, it didn’t take me very long to remember that it had been activated and that it should be showing what time period it had traveled to by then.
But when I looked at the display, it showed me that it had traveled to the same coordinates that I had programmed into it, and even though the display looked like it should have been showing me more information about what had just happened, for some reason, all it showed me was the coordinates and nothing else.
And that didn’t make any sense because every other time that I had used the machine, it would show me what year and month it had gone to once it had arrived at its destination, and there were plenty of times when it would show me what year even if it hadn’t used the coordinates that it should have.
So why wasn’t it showing me anything now?
It took less than a second for me to realize that there was only one way for me to find out where the machine had gone if not with the display, and even though I knew that this wouldn’t be as easy as checking on the computer like I had done before, that didn’t stop me from walking over to the machine so that I could plug myself into it so that I could check on its internal systems to find out for myself where it was.
But for some reason, when I tried to access its internal systems, all that happened was a message came up on the screen telling me that my access had been denied by an administrator, and after a moment of confusion when I saw those words on the screen, all I could say was “what?”
Elara created an time travel machine when suddenly somethong goes
I moved closer to the screen to make sure that I hadn’t read that message wrong, but when I saw it again, I still couldn’t believe it.
The machine had been designed to only give that message if someone had tried to hack into it from an external source like a computer or phone, but that wasn’t what I was doing as I was trying to access its internal systems from a terminal that was directly connected to it, so it should have allowed me to access them without any problems since I was supposed to be an administrator with full access to everything on it.
But for some reason that wasn’t happening right now, and I couldn’t understand why that was happening right now since nothing that I had done should have caused it to deny me access like this since I was supposed to be able to access everything on it with no problems at all as I was supposed to be an administrator with full access to everything on it.
I moved my hands up to my face before I started to rub at my temples after I had gotten a headache from all of this, but as I thought about everything that had just happened over the past few minutes, all I could do was shake my head in confusion because I couldn’t understand why this was happening right now or how I was somehow locked out of my own time travel machine when I should have been able to access anything on it without any problems at all right now.
I moved my hands away from my face so that I could look down at the machine after I had gotten rid of my headache enough for me to be able to focus on it again, and even though I could see that its display still wasn’t showing me anything other than those coordinates, something strange was happening with the control panel on it since there were lights flickering on it that hadn’t done that before when I looked at it before now.
And even though those lights were enough to make me realize that I wasn’t getting in there now no matter how hard I tried, another part of me wanted to try another way to see if it would let me access its internal systems since that was what I had been trying to do when it had denied me access before so that I could see if those lights would go away if I tried another way.

I don’t understand what’s happening here.
Objects can’t become more sentient the more you touch them.
They’re just things that either break or they don’t.
So why is this happening now?
The machine is just a collection of circuits and wires designed to follow the instructions that are given to it by the person who’s operating it.
It’s not like it can choose to deny me access to it or something because it can’t.
It’s not possible for something like this to be happening right now.
There has to be an explanation for this somehow.
I just wish I knew what it was.
A surge of excitement rushed through me at the prospect of this being true until I finally shook my head at myself when I realized how stupid it would be for me to think about this kind of thing right now when all I needed to do is figure out why the machine is locked down right now and find a way to get back into it.
One step at a time.
I’ll focus on one thing at a time and get through this with my sanity intact.
As long as it doesn’t take too long for me to figure out what’s happening here, then everything should be fine and I’ll be able to enjoy whatever has gone wrong after I’ve gotten back into the machine again.
And as long as it doesn’t take too long for me to get back in there, then everything will be fine and I’ll be able to enjoy whatever has gone wrong after I’ve had a chance to look at it and figure out why things went the way they did when they were supposed to go another way instead.
But the machine was still refusing to acknowledge my presence right now or open its data ports again for me so that I could look at them and see what had gone wrong with its most recent journey through time so that we could fix it quickly and get back to what we were doing earlier today before we had decided to put it all on hold for now.
I’m not going to let you get away with this, I thought as I looked down at the machine again and tried to see if I could find any damage on its control panel from that shock that I had gotten when I had tried to open its data ports and gotten locked out of them instead, but even though I spent several minutes looking over everything that was there on its surface, I couldn’t find any evidence that there was anything wrong with them or that they had been the source of the pain that I had felt when I had first touched them so that I could get into the machine and see what was inside of it and why I had been unable to access any of my own data that I had stored on it before now.

It was shortly after 1:00 a.
m., a time that I deemed wholly inappropriate for making loud exclamations of surprise, especially given that they might awaken my father from his place inside the house where he was sleeping right now after deciding that he didn’t want to spend another night at the hospital even though he was still feeling poorly and probably should have stayed there instead for another night or two until he started feeling better than he did right now.
The room around me had changed when I wasn’t looking, and now there was no clear evidence that the machine had ever been placed in the center of my cluttered garage laboratory while I had spent the last several minutes trying to see if I could find out why something had gone so terribly wrong in the five minutes that had passed since I had started that new experiment and now when everything had changed and nothing seemed to be the way that it had before.
And yet, even though everything around me was different than it had been before, I still seemed to be standing in the same spot that I had been earlier today, a fact that would have been all but impossible for anyone else who might have been standing here with me before now and looking around them at the same thing that I was looking at right now while they were thinking about what had happened just a few minutes ago then and how everything was different now than it had been before then as a result of whatever had gone wrong with the machine and its most recent journey through time.
The room that surrounded me right now looked almost like a bedroom from some long-lost fairytale, complete with antique furniture and a four-poster bed that stood off in one corner of the room, its drapes hanging down around its frame like some great canopy of mystery that surrounded the mattress and box spring like some great temple that was filled with secrets that no one else could ever hope to find out about except for someone like me who might have fallen into this place by accident and found themselves standing here while they were trying to make sense of what had happened just a few minutes ago and made everything around them change so that nothing seemed to be the same as it had been before they had decided to get up from where they were sitting earlier today and look around to see if anything else was different from what they could remember from their last visit here.
