I never thought I’d be the type of girl to catch a rockstar’s eye.
But that’s exactly what happened at my favorite singer’s concert.
And not just any singer, but Christopher Bangchan, the hottest rockstar in the world.
I was in the fourth row, and he pulled me on stage for an impromptu dance during his hit song "Crazy."
He sang to me and held my hand, and I was so overwhelmed that I started to cry.
I mean, I’ve been in love with him since I was sixteen years old.
And now he was looking at me with those piercing eyes and singing to me like we were the only two people in the room.
The concert hall was packed, the crowd's energy electric.
I could feel the bass thumping in my chest as I stood there, heart pounding.
Bangchan's voice filled the air, smooth and powerful.
Suddenly, he locked eyes with me.
My breath caught in my throat.
Was this really happening?
He gestured for me to join him on stage.
I hesitated, my feet glued to the floor.
But then, something inside me pushed me forward.
I climbed up, feeling the heat of the spotlight on my skin.
The crowd roared louder, but all I could focus on was him.
Bangchan reached out and took my hand, his grip warm and reassuring.
As "Crazy" blared through the speakers, he started singing directly to me.
Tears streamed down my face; I couldn't believe this was real.
His eyes never left mine, and for a moment, it felt like we were the only two people in the world.
The audience faded into the background as he sang each word with such intensity.
I could barely hear anything over the sound of my own heartbeat.
He finished the song with a flourish, and we shared a moment of intense eye contact.
It was like time had stopped.
Then, just as quickly as it began, it was over.
Bangchan held my hand tightly, his eyes filled with urgency.
"I need to talk to you," he said, leading me to a quiet corner.
My heart raced as I followed him, the adrenaline from the stage still coursing through my veins.
He looked vulnerable, a stark contrast to his confident stage persona.
"I've never felt this way before," he confessed, his voice trembling.
I felt a mix of excitement and fear bubble up inside me.
I squeezed his hand, trying to steady my own emotions.
"Bangchan, I—" I started, but before I could finish, Sarah burst in.
Her face was flushed with concern.
"Emily, we need to go," she urged, her voice urgent.
Bangchan's grip tightened around my hand, unwilling to let me leave just yet.
"Wait," he pleaded, looking between Sarah and me. "Just a few more minutes."
Sarah glanced at him, then back at me, her eyes wide with worry.
"Emily, it's important," she insisted.
I looked at Bangchan, torn between staying and going.
His eyes were filled with desperation.
"Please," he whispered.
I took a deep breath and nodded.
"Okay," I said softly to Sarah. "Just a few more minutes."
She hesitated but finally stepped back, giving us some space.
Bangchan exhaled in relief and pulled me closer.
"I don't know how to explain it," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "But there's something about you."
My heart pounded in my chest as I listened to him.
"I feel it too," I admitted, my voice shaking slightly.
He smiled, a genuine smile that made my knees weak.
"I want to get to know you better," he said earnestly.
Before I could respond, the door swung open again.
This time it was one of Bangchan's bandmates.
"Chris, we need you for the encore," he said hurriedly.
Bangchan looked at me apologetically.
"I'm sorry," he said softly. "Can we talk later?"
I nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment but understanding the situation.
He gave my hand one last squeeze before letting go and heading towards the stage.
As he disappeared through the door, Sarah came back over to me.
"Emily, are you okay?" she asked gently.
I nodded again, still processing everything that had just happened.
"We need to go now," she repeated softly but firmly.
I took one last look at the door Bangchan had gone through before following Sarah out of the backstage area.
The noise of the crowd grew louder as we made our way through the corridors.
My mind was racing with thoughts of Bangchan and what had just transpired between us.
We finally exited the building and stepped into the cool night air.
Sarah hailed a cab and we climbed in silently.
As we drove away from the concert venue, I couldn't help but replay every moment in my head.
Bangchan's words echoed in my mind: "I've never felt this way before."
I pulled it out and saw a new message: "Meet me at the café near the venue in 30 minutes. - Bangchan."
My heart raced as I read the words.
"Sarah, look at this," I said, showing her the message.
She glanced at it, her eyebrows knitting together with concern.
"Emily, are you sure about this?" she asked cautiously.
"I mean, it's late, and we barely know him."
I bit my lip, torn between excitement and caution.
"I know, but... I have to see him," I replied, determination creeping into my voice.
Sarah sighed but nodded.
"Alright, I'll come with you," she said firmly.
We arrived at the café 20 minutes later.
The place was dimly lit, with soft jazz music playing in the background.
The air smelled of freshly brewed coffee and pastries.
My eyes scanned the room nervously until they landed on Bangchan sitting in a secluded corner.
His eyes lit up when he saw me.
He stood up quickly and walked over to me, pulling me into a tight hug.
"I couldn't wait," he whispered into my ear.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as his words sank in.
Sarah stood a few feet away, watching us closely, ready to intervene if needed.
Bangchan led me to the table, our hands intertwined.
We sat down across from each other, and I could see the earnestness in his eyes.
"I've been thinking about you all night," he began, his voice low and sincere.
"I know this might sound crazy, but there's something about you that I can't ignore."
I felt a mix of thrill and apprehension wash over me as he spoke.
"Bangchan, I feel the same way," I admitted softly.
"But this is all happening so fast. I'm not sure what to think."
He reached across the table and took both of my hands in his.
"I understand," he said gently. "But I want to get to know you better. I want to see where this can go."
I glanced over at Sarah, who gave me a small nod of encouragement.
Taking a deep breath, I looked back at Bangchan.
"Okay," I said finally. "Let's see where this goes."
A smile spread across his face, lighting up his features.
"Thank you," he said earnestly. "You won't regret this."
We spent the next hour talking about everything and nothing—our favorite movies, childhood memories, dreams for the future.
It felt surreal sitting there with him, sharing pieces of our lives like old friends.
Suddenly, Bangchan's phone buzzed on the table.
He glanced at it and frowned slightly before looking back at me.
"I'm sorry," he said apologetically. "I have to go soon. Band stuff."
I nodded understandingly but couldn't hide my disappointment.
"Will I see you again?" I asked hesitantly.
He squeezed my hands reassuringly.
"Absolutely," he promised. "I'll make sure of it."
As we stood up to leave, Bangchan pulled me into another hug.
This time it felt even more intimate, like a promise of more moments to come.
Sarah joined us as we walked out of the café together.
Bangchan turned to her with a grateful smile. "Thank you for looking out for Emily."
Sarah nodded curtly but softened slightly. "Just take care of her."
Bangchan nodded earnestly before turning back to me one last time.
"I'll be in touch soon," he said softly.
With that, he walked away into the night, leaving me standing there with Sarah by my side.
"We should get going too," Sarah said gently.
I nodded absently as we started walking towards the street where we had parked our car.
